These are attractively styled whisky glasses, delicately finished. Great service from Wineware Racks and Accessories Ltd. Extremely well packed and supplied in their own individual boxes. Perfect for giving as a gift. I will be using mine to drink my whisky from. Cheers.

A proper glass takes enough ice if you like to drink your whiskey with ice like I do and I can say that I am completely satisfied.

Bought these for my mum for Mothers' Day, both to break the scented candle/cookery book mold; to get her something she would be able to use often and with real joy; and something she probably would never think of herself.She was sufficiently surprised when she opened her gift - they come wrapped very well and securely in tissue paper so no worries about them breaking. The box is pretty basic really, might be nice to see a few extra pounds spent on a display box of some description (perhaps along the same lines as the whisky bottle will come in...)They sit very well in the hand, lovely shape, the base especially is just the right blend of delicate curve and solid, satisfying weight. No worries about setting them down a little too hard (after a couple) and snapping the stem.They are surprisingly high quality crystal for the price- they take a really great shine and very little distortion to the glass. I am not a fan of the laser etching of 'The Glencairn Glass' into the bottom - frankly unsightly and not a wise move to try and advertise to people who have already purchased the glass. Perhaps they were hoping for restaurant commissions etc. but I would expect them to put the customer first with a product like this.Overall they perform very well. Whisky is well presented and looks appealing, glass is very thin and gives a very true impression of the colour and integrity of the fluid. Odours are contained very well and this is the real benefit of a dedicated scotch glass over the conventional tumbler.All in all very pleased. My mum loves them and my dad is very happy to make furtive use of one as well. Top stuff. Star taken off for the cheap box and unsightly etching in the base.
