Not only useful tool, but its a hell of a fun to use too :P
Absolutely indispensable for heavy demolition work. I dismantled many pallets in no time, salvaging many boards for further use. The bar is heavy but that weight is actually the most important feature of it - as it helps to ply boars and rip the big , old rusty nails out with not much effort. The sharp ends are very useful as you might be surprised at places they can squeeze into , which allows you then using the sheer force of leverage to rip things apart .. Yeah, not only useful tool, but its a hell of a fun to use too :P

FANTASTIC tool!
Everything about this is great. It's solid, a great length for, in my case, levering up old Decking boards. Any old screws left in the joists were easily dealt with with the nail puller prongs. I fact all three of us on this project, thought this was brilliant piece of Kit.

genuine article
great bar, not too big, not too small, useful for anything from machine positioning to general demolition work. the pry bar end is nice and sharp so it gets into tight gaps no problem. the hook end has a decent nail puller in it and howks 6" nails out nicely. had it for a few months now and well pleased wi' it

big
This bar is seriously big and will give a long serviceable life. the only problem I can see is that as both ends are very sharp they have a clear silicone cover at each end. However, the bars sharp ends soon cut through these (hence 4*)and make storing this in the shed a slight problem due to chance of accident with very sharp ends. A better plastic covers would make it 5*

Great crowbar
When it first arrived, I was considering returning it, because it was quite a bit longer and heavier than I thought it would be. I am very glad I haven't. I have since used it on a number of tasks and it has always been a great help. I haven't actually used it to remove nails yet; rather it has seen lots of use in breaking up hard soil and concrete. I have also used it to lift a lot of slabs and heavy stones - often stuck - and its size and length (more leverage!) has made these tasks very easy.I helped a friend with a project the other day and when he saw the bar first, he first mocked it for being way too big. By the end of the day, he wasn't mocking it anymore. :-)

Crowbar
Strong and sturdy enough. Purchased to prise a really overgrown ivy off my house wall. So far, so good but; due to the weight of this crowbar I'm having to do a bit at a time. One of the drawbacks of being over 70 yrs old.

Perfect size, perfect weight
I've got this and the 48", which makes me realise size isn't everything. The 36" bar is a much more comfortable size and weight, easier to handle and less tiring to drag about.I mean obviously if you've got to lift up an elephant then the 48" bar is your friend, but for ripping normal sized things to bits the 36" is perfect.Having used the old fashioned crowbars, the gorilla bar design is just so much easier and effective.
