I was very impressed with the New NKJV Thompson Chain Premier Edition. As someone who owns several premium Bibles from renowned publishers such as R.L. Allan, Schuyler, Cambridge, and Crossway, I can say that while this Bible may not be at quite the same level, it is not far behind. From the print design and two-color printing to the art-gilded page edges, ribbons, and goatskin semi-yapp cover, I am very pleased. Not to mention, the price is excellent.

This Bible...is the best premium Bible I own (and I own many from companies such as Allan, Schuyler, Crossway, Humble Lamb, etc.). The paper is 36GSM-perfect. The binding is perfect. The corner-work is perfect. The lining is leather-perfect. It has some yapp, but not too much-perfect. The ribbons, you guessed it, perfect. I will caution you who do not like heavier bibles, it's a little heavy, but worth building your arms a little to carry such a gem. 100% worth it.I did order a number of non-premium versions and ended up sending all three back, as there were problems with the pages not being cut right on the indexing (on one, some pages were not cut at all) or a page was cut out and then carefully, but imperfectly replaced.In conclusion, bite the bullet and pay the money for this premium black goatskin edition, as it seems to have gotten plenty of personal attention before release. This is now my everyday, everywhere, everything Bible. Thank you, Zondervan!!!

I am so pleased with this Bible. Delivered promptly and the quality of it is superb. The chain system is easy to learn and use. I know this is going to be my favorite Bible, and I have a lot of Bibles!! It's packed with additionaluseful info that will be helpful to read and add to my learning.

I have waited a long time for this Bible to arrive, and I am glad that I did. It is a little bigger and heavier than I thought, but the quality is worth it. I have owned several premium Bibles throughout my journey and this is easily one of the finest I've ever held. Highly recommend it. I love the Bible but I wish it was red letters and indexed. Other than that the goatskin cover is really nice and the Bible is beautiful.
