Perfect for using US mains radios in the UK! 🎶
I bought this adapter to allow me to use American mains-only radios in the UK. The well-built adapter simply plugs into any UK 3-pin mains socket, you insert the US 2-pin mains plug into the adapter and off you go! The adapter safely converts UK mains into the appropriate format to operate radios with US mains leads here in the UK. This has enabled me to enjoy some fabulous radios intended for the US market (see pics), and test several iconic models for inclusion in my forthcoming book 'A Hundred Favourite Radios'. A highly recommended product! 🔌

Useful gadget
A sturdy piece of plug. Unfortunately it was not compatible with the product for which I bought it - this confused me a little.Yet to try its use with another product .Looks like it’s value for money

I had 2 similar plugs I purchased in USA some yrs ago and needed a new one I was worried this one wouldn't work but it foes my USA imported wax burner has life again do I will definitely be ordering more for the other imported items we have!

Unbelievably loud buzzing noise
I had the previous version of this with the long cable sticking out, bought them 5 years ago and never had any issues with them. Tried looking for them but found this instead. Got this for my new system but the buzzing sound is louder than my home theatre system when watching anything apart from music. I have 2, one for the soundbar and one for the sub. If both decide to buzz, i turn the sound system off and use the tv sound which is something i never do even for bbc news.I don't know if its the ones i bought are faulty as the ones I have from 5 years ago have similar reviews but mine never 'buzzed'By the time I tested them was well past my return window so they'll have to be discarded. If anyone knows where I can buy great ones please recommend
