Great for sitting on in the bath!
I tried all manner of things to support the base of my spine in the bath, but there seemed to be nothing that would both sink in the water, and still cushion the buttocks and base of spine.This cushion is not specifically designed for the purpose, but it works very well. The cushion unzips, to reveal a water absorbant sponge 'sandwich', with a plastic bag of a gel like wallpaper paste inside (if you have a plastic bag heat sealer, you could probably make your own). The two layers of foam are only very lightly stuck together with Copydex to hold the gel bag in position. In use this soon comes apart, which some might find a fault, but for ease of use as a bath cushion it is actually very good, because it makes it easy to take the gel bag out while you spin dry the rest of the cushion after your bath.In use the gel bag does tend to get rucked up, so that you have to smooth it out now and then to get support back in the right places, but it is no worse than having to plump up ordinary cushions. It really has transformed my bathtimes from being a pain to a pleasure.The sponge layers could, usefully be made a bit thicker, and the texture of the sponge is quite open and crumbly, so it's not really built to last, but it has certainly lasted long enough to be well worth the money.

Comfort & ease of use.
This cushion makes sitting in the wheelchair so much better than sitting on bare canvas. It also raises the seat level so easing getting up for someone with limited mobility.All at a modest price.

Not as comfortable as I thought it would be. Does give me the support that I need. Good size and quality. But disappointing with the comfort.
