perfect for portable set up on Linux... windows dvb tv is rubbish
i use LINUX to access my TV.. far easier than Windoeszzz and more importantly ... IT'S TOTALLY FREEspeciically a software called Kaffeine. but VLC will run it on either system

Solid Flexible Tuner
linux drivers compile easily under LMDE4 (already has gcc) and works well with DVBv5. win7 64bit needs sp1 and KB3033929 (it doesn't need KB3035131, just ignore microsoft) installed to install the driver properly but works fine (much better than the WinTVdual stick it has replaced). Also works with totalmedia3.5 (and probably any other windows tv software).

No Blind Scan
Its a shame this does not have blind scan,also no way of entering a new frequency.No good for motorized satellite due to the aboveThis can be used with a motorized,if you use an existing stb,which has LNB out put,however the stb would have to be on the Satellite/Frequency that you are looking forIt seems blind scan is available for other cards(mainly pci) but not for this model.A bad Error on TBS part.I will prob return the item.
