This stuff sux...
This is not 1/2" or 394 mils, its barely a 1/4" and the sound dampening is 2 decibels, big deal. This simply doesn't do what it says it does and I can't return it because its already in my boat and taking it out will destroy it and I could send it back as a mess. Disappointed in Amazon the last few years, the stuff you get from them is cheap crap and they continue to make it worse. Prime costs going up, deliveries show up whenever they want, videos now cost money where they were free and no ads, but now you have to pay more to remove ads. How much money does Bezos need??????

Heat barrier
I have used to material to wrap around the car battery to try and protect it from the high under hood heat. It should block a lot of infrared at least.
