I am using this bottle for the first time today at work. I wanted a metal water bottle and insulated because I'm not a fan of ice and I don't want a bunch of condensation. I poured cold water from my fridge in it this morning with a couple squirts of lemon juice. It's been 5 hours and the water, without ice in it, is still as cold as it was when I took it out of the fridge. There has been no condensation nor does the bottle even feel cold on the outside. I like the handle on the lid for easy carrying and the neat little bag that comes with it is great for that, too. I ordered the solid red 40 oz bottle. I had to use a long handled sponge to get down to the bottom to wash it. I'll have to see if I can find one with a longer handle because mine barely reaches the bottom.Update 5 months later: I still love this bottle. It travels with me to work every day and there is not a scratch on it. I haven't dropped it and not in the habit of banging it against anything either. It keeps my water ice cold for the entire work day and beyond. I sometimes use it at night at home and the water is still ice cold in the morning. I highly recommend the flip and sip stein lid. I like that much better than the lid that came with the bottle. Both bottle and lid are easy to clean. I only put water with some lemon juice in mine. I handwash with soapy hot water (bought a long handled silicon brush just for the bottle) and let air dry. I haven't seen any rust in the bottle. I also haven't had any issues with mold anywhere on the lid. This has really helped me increase my daily water intake.Update 7/15/21: I dropped my 40 oz bottle onto the concrete garage floor and it wrinkled the metal in such a way to create a sharp edge. So I ordered a new bottle. I was sad to see the 40 oz size wasn’t available but the 32 oz does fine and I love the hombre coloring.

I purchased the 40 oz capacity bottle with the Flip-n-Sip lid and couldn't be happier (or more hydrated!) Everything about this product says 'quality' - from its packaging to its finish. The exterior is bright and attractive (I ordered orange) with a pleasing texture that makes the bottle easy to grip and hold. While I've only owned the item for several weeks now, the finish has proven durable; there are no scratches or chips after daily use and travel. The interior is as expected - finely machined and clean. Performance-wise the bottle keeps its contents cold. I haven't tried warm liquid, yet, but expect it performs as advertised. It certainly does with cold water.The included lid is tight-fitting, no leaks, and very durable. It screws on and off easily without any threading issues. Not much else to say.As with the included lid, the optional Flip-n-Sip lid is also durable, its hinged handle substantial, and flip-top lid, lid-lock, and trigger, all perfectly functional and evidently durable as well. The mouth is a touch small. If you're used to a wider-mouthed bottle, like a Nalgene or the like, you may initially be concerned. And while you can't guzzle from this spout, you can certainly consume the bottle's contents quickly enough to quench your thirst (or else simply unscrew the lid and have at things fire hose-style). So no worries there.All told, the bottle's the best water bottle solution I've owned to date. I'm extremely happy with the item, but will say this: at 40 oz, the bottle is huge as you can well imagine. Full to the brim, it's quite hefty (though coupled with the strength of its construction could likely serve well in self-defense or hand-to-hand combat.) So if you're looking for something more portable, you may opt to drop to one of the the smaller sizes, depending on your hydration (and safety) needs.

It looks great, keeps beverages cold at least forever, and hot beverages hot almost that long. I have filled it with carbonated water, which I guess if anything would leak that would do it, and not a drop. I use a bottle brush to clean it, and after a month it is still like brand new.The finish is great. The top fits well, and as I said, does not leak. I am not surprised at any of this though as I have had the Healthy Human insulated tumbler, used it every day for two months, and it is still as good looking as the day I bought it. It keeps beverages just as cold or hot for just as long. These people make wonderful products.Update 04/08/12: I've had this bottle for 4 months, and love it. It keeps cold cold and hot hot forever. The finish, after a lot of heavy use is perfect. When the weather finally broke and I started riding my bike, I decided I would add a water bottle cage to my bike and take the bottle with me... not easy to do as the diameter of the bottle is 3-1/2 inches and most bottle cages will not accommodate anything close to that. After a lot of looking (this is NOT a commercial, just information) I found a water bottle cage that would hold something this big. I had to spread the holding arms slightly to hold the bottle, but it now fits perfectly (see the photos). It's cold today but I took the bike out for a bumpy ride to see it if would hold tight, and it did.I still highly recommend this bottle. It is perfect. I have never had anything that held up or performed as will as it does. If you're a bike rider, this cage is a good addition. I'm sure there are more out there that would work, but I just couldn't find any. I hope all of this helps.
