Looks like it is OEM
This front & rear camera system works perfectly! The video quality is above my expectations and is pretty straightforward on using. It is so inconspicuous that unless you are looking around from inside, you will not notice it at all. Not only was it fairly inexpensive, but it was easy to install. What would make this purchase a better experience would be if there were instruction videos on how to run the rear camera install on each vehicle they are compatible with. I know this is a huge request, but it would help people understand what it takes to do it from beginning to end.Overall, I would give this system a solid A because it took less than 2 hours to install and it looks very clean too.

Easy installation, good video quality. App is pretty basic.
I just installed this camera in my 2024 Cr-v. The installation was quick and relatively painless. The front camera piece fit perfectly in place of the factory cover. This will be a breeze if you are even slightly handy.I recommend watching Rich Ideates video on YouTube to see the full installation. It was easy to set up the camera and app on my phone. The app is easy to navigate, but relatively basic. Could use some features like Select All and grouping by date or by trip. But this is minor.I'll update my review after using the camera for a few months. There is a good video on YouTube about how to install the rear cam

Great camera, but installation instructions lacking
I just installed this Fitcam X into my CR-V today. Since a series of unfortunate events has led me to my third car in a few years, this is now the third Fitcam X I’ve installed. This is another fantastic camera, but the instructions are lacking.FitcamX pros: I’m a big fan of these devices. They blend seamlessly into the car, no worry for thieves to obviously see tech sitting on the dashboard to entice a smash-and-grab. They’re a big more expensive, but probably cheaper than paying a shop to hardwire a dash cam, and even then, you’ve got an obvious extra part. These blend in. The camera works fine, the software is OK. To me, the video out of most dash cams are pretty good. On the CR-V, it fits perfectly.Con: As of March 30, 2023, when you purchase the camera, the instructions aren’t great. Inside the box is a user manual with a barcode that scans to a Youtube link (my previous 2 fitcams did this as well). On my last two cars, the video was car specific. This one, it links to a video for a 6th gen Honda Civic. If you visit the Fitcam X website and look at this model for the CR-V, the page also links to the video of the civic install. The two installations are not the same.I know this because I previously had a ’23 Acura Integra, which shares the same design as the Honda Civic mirror surround. The CR-V is different. The initial piece is one part that prys down vertically, whereas the Civic is two pieces that pry apart horizontally. Unfortunately, there’s no video or written instructions to tell you how to get the CR-V mirror housing off.Rather than damage it, I looked online for PDF instructions on how to install a Honda Homelink Mirror for the 2023 CR-V. The instructions, available for download from your favorite Honda parts dealer’s website, show how this part disassembles, which is the first step in installing your Fitcam. That mirror is Honda part number 08V03-3A0-100 if you want to go searching online for the installation instructions yourself.I’m going to still give it 5 stars because the setup is worth it. Hopefully Fitcam will record a model-specific video soon.

Looks like factory interior with software that is basic and (mostly)does the job
After seeing the Youtube video exposing that nearly all webcams are the same exact hardware, I decide that I would not bother shopping for camera features. Instead, I focused on: the installation being safe and easy while looking like part of the car. This webcam really delivers in creativity by providing PC-ABS part replacements for your interior with a camera inside. In the case of the 2024 CRV, the camera replaces the vent cover for the HondaSense camera already in the front window. Once installed, this replacement panel positions the new camera right below the factory camera to look like it was built from the factory with two cameras. The design is genius. There is zero risk of a smash-and-grab to steal your dashcam. The only minor knock on the design is that the replacement panel does not have felt absorption pads to prevent part-on-part squeaks like the stock interior panel does. That means that this dashcam might make some noise in bumpy conditions.Installation of the camera on a 2024 CRV is also genius. The camera comes with a wiring loom that connects to an existing interior connector, meaning there is no need to run wire to the fuse box. The rear camera was mostly easy once I got past the rear door. In my case, I threaded a long zip tie taped to a piece of paracord through the rubber cable conduit to the rear hatch. Finally, I taped the camera cord to the paracord and pulled it through slowly, inching it by hand in the rubber conduit to get it to move. Other than the routing of the cable through the rear door, the rest of the installation was extremely easy. I routed the rear camera cable along the driver side paneling to the center roof console. Overall, installation took me about 2 hours, and that was taking my time.Setup of the camera is where this fairy tale story of the perfect webcam falls apart. First, you cannot setup the camera on a phone which already is wirelessly connected to the car in Apple Car Play. This camera works by broadcasting a wireless SSID that you need to connect your device to in order to use the software. The problem is that Apply Car Play will continue drop the camera's wireless network and switch back to Car Play. This means you cannot use a phone already used in Car Play to access this camera. I got around this issue by enlisting a tablet for dashcam setup and use.Even after getting a tablet to setup the camera, the software is super basic.Positive:The software does not require any kind of Cloud account! This is a huge positive actually.Negatives:You cannot invert or mirror the rear camera in software. With the natural installation routing of the wire, my rear camera is recording upside down. I can flip the image right side up in my video player, but it really is horrid that the rear videos are upside down when viewing from my connected device.Time is only settable by connecting an external device periodically. If you don't regularly connect, the time will drift and potentially be lost. There is no messaging to tell you when the card fails or the camera has issues. I have read that a High Endurance card should last years. Thus, the suggestion is to replace the card once a year to ensure stability.I have debated what rating to give this product considering there are strokes of genius even if the manufacturing did cheap out by selling out-of-date poor software. The reality is that most of us will install the dashcam and forgot it exists. This camera is a set it and forgot type camera. It will record a good picture, the installation looks great, and the interface is basic and does the job. Go into your purchase with tempered expectations and I still think the price/performance ratio makes this a good value for the money.

Works great but...
I lovecthis dashcam and it fits perfectly in my 2023 CRV-Sport Hybrid, thec9nly problem is now I can never win an argument with my wife because she always says "Go To The Dashcam!" To review our conversation. But in all seriousness, this cam is great and the quality is excellent.
