I wish I had gotten these when my laptop was brand new! Fits perfect, keeps my keyboard clean, and now I can see the e, r, t, n keys clearly again.

Don't know why Dell doesn't include this. It can stop spills if you quickly wipe it up as long as it doesn't get in the pad or speakers. Maybe Dell wants to sell another computer. You can get "insurance" if you buy their highest service level since they replace if water damage.This product looks and feels good. I prefer it to uncovered keys

Isn't compatible with 5420
It's too cheap to return so it's now a toy for my kids. Though this doesn't fit the 5420 Dell laptop as the description indicates.

The edges of the keys are fragile
The edges of the keys on this cover start to deteriorate with regular use. The material weakens and frays. Low durability, mine has several holes now and it does not protect the keyboard from liquids anymore.
