Works well and fascinating to watch
Has a good weight to it and the size was about correct as a central item for a display.There are lots of bubbles which can be removed, I prefer them in, as this slowed the sand down enough so as to fall to the same trickling as sand in a sand timer⌛️ but lasted approx an hour.The front and back are of glass.This one is a gift which I wanted to test quickly beforehand to make sure it works well.I'm looking to purchase another as I like it so much!Suitable for any room and is calming to observe.The sand gives an amazing impression of distance and landscape with the different shades and different areas filling up separately.Truly fascinating to watch it form.(Can sometimes require taking off of the stand a couple of times at the beginnining, and replacing on the stand, to get a continuous flow happening)

Best desk decor in the office!
Out of all things I have seen people get for their desks in the office, this beats them all, everyone is so fascinated with the sand to make it a nice mountain pattern by turning it around, easily the best buy I had for my desk in the office in my 7 years there!

Has an annoying flaw
The idea of this is nice, it can be lovely and calming but mine has an annoying flaw. There's a lump of brown sand that just doesn't move no matter how you shake it and it spoils it.

Doesn’t last long moving from top to bottom
Tried to use it to calm nerves but doesn’t last long enough so nice just to look at

Did not work as it should
The media could not be loaded. The sand just dropped to the bottom . I kept it aprox 4 days and tried it lots of times and it just didn’t produce any landscapes due to the sand just plopping down rather than doing a slow trickle .The feel of the product was quite nice , packaging was open (probably already been returned ) and not in the greatest condition which was annoying too as I purchased it for a gift .

Fair
The sand art doesn't move that well , you have to turn the disk manually but when doing so the sand doesn't move that well. The colour(s) are good. There seems to be more air in the sand creating air pockets
