The wicker chair I bought was painted white. In some of the photos on Amazon it can look rather grey as I presume the automatic colour balance of the camera used to picture the chair tried to 'balance' the photo exposure to a mid-level and consequently made the white of the chair look grey, which it isn't in reality. It's just an ordinary white paint finish - not grey. The cushion is grey.
