Excellent Charcoal
I've bought several bags of this coal and really like cooking with it. It lights well, doesn't smoke to much and burns cleanly. The bags have always been nicely graded with little in the way of small bits and dust.Cooking with it is a pleasure as it gives off a predicable amount of heat and as it burns do cleanly, you can add coal in small quantities while you're cooking to keep the heat going. It burns away to basically nothing with only a small amount of fine ash left over that's easily cleaned up.Definitely recommend to my friends!

Nice sized lumps and burns very well
Good Value for money, good lumps of charcoal not fully of dust and tiny bits. I use it on an egg style / kamado BBQ and have been very happy indeed with the supply which burns cleanly and evenly. I recommend

Really good charcoal
Very good value for money, but beware the delivery is HEAVY!The sacks contain lots of large chunks. The charcoal itself is very good quality, very hard and light. I used it for a low and slow 7 hour cook and there was loads of heat left for some baked spuds. The heat is controllable too, much easier than with charcoal briquettes. The lump wood burned right down to ash, denoting good quality.I'd recommend this charcoal. And it's great value especially compared to the rubbish lumpwoo sold in most high street sheds or garden centres.

Fantastic quality Lumpwood
Fantastic quality Lumpwood. Nice large pieces, some of which were about 15cm long . I use it for my 'Big Green Egg' and I would say it is even better than the Lumpwood charcoal supplied by Big Green Egg which is 3 times the price.I have used this to cook Pizza at 350degC and Salmon at 200degC all the time giving a nice controllable heat. Very little ash once burned. Will definitely be buying this again once I am running out.

Great product after correct product arrived!
Well the product itself is great but when you order coal and chunks of wood arrive you begin to think that maybe they wanted me to make my own!? Never mind the firm corrected this after several awkward exchanges by mail and days waiting......still product is very good when it arrived.

Excellent quality & size
Can't fault this charcoal. I've tried a lot of different brands; some come in tiny little pieces with half a bag of dust, some take forever to light and don't burn well. This Beech Charcoal is the best I've tried by a long way. A mix of sizes, mostly bigger chunks, it's quick to light and burns exceptionally cleanly and evenly.

Quality bulk order for BBQ season - repeat buyer
Big chunky charcoal - always good size of coals - not dust. Bag is also pretty rain proof incase you leave it out - Great Value

Mostly small chunks
The quality of the charcoal itself seems okay, but it's mostly really small pieces which makes it not great to use - I suspect that the bags allow it to smash around quite a bit and break up in transit.Good price for a large amount of charcoal, but probably won't be buying again due to the above.
