Love this heavy duty cast iron grill press. Appears to be made well, is solid and has the ideal weight for pressing burgers, etc.

I had a bacon press I loved but it was rectangular and I had to use my largest skillet in order to yse it. I decided this burger press would probably work for me as a bacon press and I could use a smaller skillet. I was right, the only thing wrong with it is the handle is too large and I have to be extremely careful when I use the handle or I get burned. I wish they would use a round ball shaped piece of wood fir the handle. Much easier to use than the long rounded piece of wood.

This cast iron grill press is very well made and works well. I have a square cast iron grill press that won't fit in my small skillet due to the length and the corners. This round Mountain Grillers press gives me options while I cook and fits in my small skillet. The grooves on the side that press the meat allows airflow which helps the meat to cook evenly and the juices to flow unobstructed off of the meat. While using the grill press on a hot grill the wooden handle does not get hot. Great product! 5 Star Review all Day!!

I got this thing so I could stop using the bottom of a pot to press onto quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches, and burger patties on my griddle. I'll be trying paninis next. Oh boy, does it work great. It's very well made, quite heavy, and does its job flawlessly. I heat it up on a burner, spray some nonstick oil on it just to keep it from picking up cheese, and it makes grill marks on the bread. So far, the handle hasn't gotten hot and since its cast iron, I treat it like I do the rest of my cast iron—with a light touch. Great product!

This is just a great too to have in any kitchen. This makes the best hamburger patties, no more bending spatulas The press applies the right amount of weight and pressure needed in order to produce quality meals. Cast iron is easy to clean and season, make sure you season properly so that it wil always remain non stick.

Good bang for the buck. Could have been heavier/ thicker to hold more heat but I’m satisfied would buy again
