Polytar Scalp Coal Tar Shampoo 150ml - Pack of 2

Use this when I have an itchy scalp. Works every time. Smells better than other products I have bought in the past. Leaves my hair nice and soft.

I very much like the aroma of Polytar. This product seemingly disappeared from the market place several years ago, ostensibly due to the concerns about coaltar. This was one of the only products on the market at the time that successfully treated my scalp psoriasis/seborrhoeic dermatitis. I'm really pleased that this product has resurfaced, albeit the percentage of coaltar seems to have been reduced. The shampoo leaves my hair silky and soft and the coaltar ingredient is very soothing to the scalp. I will continue to use this product as it suits my hair and condition.

Very good shampoo does it’s job very well

I had flaky dry scalp due to Excema.Have tried lots of different shampoos for it. Tried this and no more dry and scaly scalp.

Not as harsh as nizoral and leaves your hair in better shape.

The title says it all. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only product that is non aggravating.

I am so glad to find this product available again in UK. I have not been able to get it since pre 2017 at least. After just a couple of uses, my Head and Scalp feel and look so much better. I had been getting this on prescription for many years, without this product, my scalp went back to sores, dandruff and itching so bad I thought there was an army of bugs crawling in my hair. You just don't know how much confidence this has restored to me. I will be making sure this never runs out of stock in my bathroom. 25 Aug 2023.
