Good word book
This word book is great, it has plenty of recognisable items that my kids can name without having heard me say them, but on the otherhand there's also plenty of items that are really obscure and won't be used very often in their childhood, if ever, Such as: "tyre gauge" and "irrigation system"It also has stories being told at the top of each page so it doubles as a regular book too!

Fun learning for paw patrol fans
There is a lot to do with reading this book, you have each location such as a Fire Station, Construction Site and School which are wound together with a narrative to move from one to the next, the story links all the locations actually pretty well. Each location also has tags with the image to say what each thing is within the image and this is great as my daughter has been learning new words and I think it is great that the words are with the image, she seems to really be learning from this.I like the fact that the images and words re varied too from a net and a pizza to a porthole and sewage pipe. It really has varied words from every day things your child might know to new words they may not.All is wrapped up with some fun such as the characters from the show, I did give a little a chuckle when Chickaletta popped up. The images are bright and detailed and each scene is nicely drawn and crafted, they are fun and there is a lot of variety in the imagery. The book mimics the style and fun of the TV show really well.If your child loves Paw Patrol and is learning words at the moment and loves a good book this is definitely one to get. You have a fun story set around different locations to learn. I have really been enjoying reading this with my daughter and asking her about the images. She thinks its fun too to name whats in the image.

Good quality and lots to do for a 3 year old
My daughter is 3 and a massive fan of Paw Patrol. The best thing about this book I’ve found is that she will read through it on her own, knowing the characters as well as she does she pretends to read the book as normal but she is looking at the word while saying it as well which is helping her identify some letters. It’s very much a spot the things kind of book, there are some paragraphs to read which give a short story or more of a scene description so it’s not a bedtime story at all more of a flick through book for her but it’s good she likes to look through on her own as wel.The colours and print quality are very good, vibrant colours and the characters and pictures are all true to the TV episodes so everything looks right which is a big thing for a child.Great as a present or reward book for a three year old

‘No dream is too big, no pup is too small’ sums this up!
This is a suitably heavy children’s, hard-backed, picture book with a surprising amount of text. Based on Paw Patrol, this will certainly go down a treat with children who are ‘into’ the Nickelodeon series. This book has some super colourful illustrations with children able to spot and learn how to read and spell specific words. The vocabulary is quite challenging such as ‘tyre gauge’ and will push new readers to extend their vocabulary and reading skills. I love how it introduces young readers to power plants, for example, and looks at irrigation systems and wind turbines: allowing children to explore the new and rapidly-changing world around them. Brilliant! As Ryder says, ‘No dream is too big, no pup is too small!’ For me, this just about sums up the aim of this book.
