Special pieces vs price
I love the new sets lego has put out for Harry Potter last year and this year. This set helps complete the current hogwarts school with the green color roof and the characters in this have definitely improved since the original series 1 goblet of fire rescue set. My rule of thumb when pricing lego is to make sure its US 10 cents or less per brick so i know if I'm getting a good deal or not. Even though this cost more for the brick I still got it for all the unique characters cause some characters are harder to get. I say it's definitely worth getting for your collection if you're a fan.

My Grandson Loved It!
My 12 year old grandson Loved this present! We gave it to him at his birthday dinner and he was so intent on finishing it that he had it put together before we left the restaurant. He loves Legos and Harry Potter so thus was the perfect gift!

Gee, maybe put it in a box instead of slapping a shipping sticker on it and leaving it outside.
Nothing at all wrong with this set. Paid a good price for it, set is entirely satisfactory.Shipping was comical. No outer box, no protection whatsoever. Shipping sticker printed and slapped on side of the box. Box subsequently dropped on the step outside in the rain. An outer box may have provided some protection but that didn't appear necessary to the genius shipping the item. Probably nobody ever keeps their Lego boxes or enjoys the artwork on the box either, right?Summation: box arrived damaged, wet and with a sticker on it. Looks great now. Thankfully Lego hasn't yet given up on plastic bags for the parts inside.
