we had tried another version of the blumann product line. we found it to be dried out so we replaced and got this one instead. turned out to be a great decision. product is really just a perfect hair product for those not wanting extremely stiff hair but wanting a decent amount of lift and hold throughout the day.pros: relatively affordable (would expect this $20 product to last 3-5 months), pleasant scent, a medium hold, washes out easily, amazon shipping excellent as alwayscons: none really, just make sure you order the product with the amount of hold that is desirable for your needs

I have been using this for a couple of years now, and its been my steady go-to styler (after pre-styling with Reuzel spray grooming tonic and finishing up with Verb ghost hairspray). This clay is probably the most easy to apply styling product I've ever used. It emulsifies quickly, making application a breeze. Hold is a solid medium in my experience, and the smell is quite fresh. The end result is a voluminous style with enhanced texture and thickness in the strands (I have fine, wavy hair). And it's extremely lightweight on top of everything else.

Good product. It has a nice matte finish and since i have thin hair its quite hard to find a product thats matte. The holds is light so i love that i have the feel of almost nothing in my hair makes me feel more natural instead of the clay like feel that puts a little presence on the top of your head. Product last me all day and is easily re workable which is a no brainer. Just as a whole a nice product for fine to thin hair.

Cavalier clay has amazing products but this is not the one. It smells terrible and is very sticky. If you’re looking for an extreme hold then this is perfect but not my preference for a clay.

Product was better than expected. I have shorter hair, so worked well with it. Smell is fine and not a big deal. Just need to “emulsify” very well in your hands before applying. Works in well and gives the body and texture that I am looking for. Nice product – will use going forward!

It's the perfect mix between the easy application of a cream product, and the voluminous hold of a clay. The product is also very good at keeping hold throughout the day, and it only takes like a dime size amount to do it. I've got 4 ish inch long hair and I style it as a quiff/pomp and this is the thing I've been looking for!

Personally, I love this hair clay. It's perfect for my thin hair, and I had to finally buy another after running out.I bought another tub and when it came, the clay was very chalky and hard. I'm practically certain that it was frozen (BIG no no). It also had pellets in it and the consistency was as said, chalky and not creamy. I tried to put blow heat into it using a hair dryer but that did nothing.This is definitely not a formula change, but rather just bad care from either the seller or Amazon. I contacted the third party seller and they said it was Amazon's fault.So who knows, take your risk. I'm a rather lazy on reviewing, but people should look out for a product that has bad care (NOT BLUMAAN's FAULT).
