Zinc absorbs oil and acts as a sunscreen. At night I’ll take a Q-tip, dip into small dish of zinc powder, non-nano sized, and dot on any blemish big or small. The non-nano size is safe for topical use and the same kind used in mineral sunscreens. By morning those blemishes are dried up! You can also add 1/8 tsp to your favorite moisturizer or foundation, liquid or powder, and your foundation will look and stay perfect all day while it’s absorbing any excess oil. You may need a little less if your complexion is dark to avoid a white overcast. This bag has lasted years because you only need a tiny bit!!

Bought this to make sunscreen and it worked wonders. We live in the Texas heat and swim all summer. My kids never got a burn and I didn’t have to worry about chemicals from store bought sunscreen being baked into them.

I used this to make my own sunscreen! (It's yellow because of the Shea butter). It mixed in well and provides great, all natural sun protection.
