Excellent bottle for hot and cold brew tea.
UPDATE. I have just treated myself to a second of these excellent bottles. I find that I am using it at least once a day for taking a hot drink to bed with me. The tea stays hot and can be cooled by removing the lid or poring some into a cup. The filter is fine enough to use even with roibos teas where the very fine leaves can be a nuisance in the cup. The fact that the filter lid remains secure means that you can pour or drink the tea without removing it. It also means there is no overflow of the leaves into the flask as I have found with another type. I also love the elegant and practical design.ORIGINAL REVIEW. I have used this for both cold brew and hit brewed tea. With cold brew you get delicious tea you can drink straight from the bottle.I dispensed with the basket. So that the leaves have more space to brew. The lid of the basket clips neatly and tightly into the top of the flask so the leaves remain securely inside. If you want to remove the leaves to stop over-brewing you can can use the basket and remove it with the leaves but it can be very hot. When hot brewing, as another reviewer pointed out, unless you are leaving it for a very long time you need to pour into a cup before drinking. (not included). I would not mark this down for that though as the bottle is exactly as described.

An Outstanding Product!
I was very impressed, not just with the bottle but surprisingly with the packaging also. A lot of care and attention has gone into production and I will be experimenting with various teas, loose and tea bags, over the next week. I may even try ground coffee, as the basket seems fine enough to keep out stray grounds.I'll be adding this to my gift list, as it's ideal to give as a suprise that person-who-has-everything.

Elegant and functional
It is very hard to decide from the thousands of vacuum flasks which might be the best one to use. It would help if more sellers accurately listed the size of the bottle. I am sure it was somewhere in the listing when I purchased but it is not there now!The flask is 66mm diameter and 225mm tall with lid on. It fits easily into the drinks hold of a car. It also sits in the holder for bottled water of a bicycle. It is NOT a sports bottle and you can't grab it whilst cycling or running and drink. The finish is a matt black and will mark with repeated placement in a cup holder and more so if used in a bottle cage on a bicycle unless that is "padded" one. So far these rub marks have buffed up leaving no trace. In a bag, with no sharp objects, I don't expect this to be a problem. The infuser works perfectly and with a cap on the top you can drink through it without getting tea leaves in your mouth. I brew for a few minutes and take out the infuser. This stops the tea over brewing and maintains the strength I wish.Within the hour the cap becomes warm and clearly is not as well insulated as the bottle. If over filled, but not so much that putting the cap on makes it pour over the sides it will leak if turned upside down or shaken. If correctly fitted this is not a problem and I can not make it leak by turning up-side-down or shaking. The temperature does dop off but after 8 hours - when I finished the tea it was still hot. With the lid off it drops 0.1 degree every 5 seconds or less. So each measurement I took had a bad effect on the temperature drop. It does mean you can quickly get the temperature down to an acceptable level and not burn your mouth - or use a cup!.After 20 minutes the boiling water from the kettle had dropped to 86.7, after an hours to 83.6m 2:15 to 78.9, 3:13 to 75.2, 4:20 to 71.2 and after 6 hours to 56.4 but I had started to reduce the volume at 4:20. It was still very hot 8 hours from filling.I make coffee latte which the Sage defaults to 475-480ml which is a little over the top for the flask but soon resolved with a little sip. Cleaning afterwards was a hot rinse. Even the most coarse grind of the beans leaves particles at the bottom. The filter is well designed for tea but a much finer one would be needed to filter coffee.I purchased three. I am not disappointed. It is an elegant flask that I would be happy to take into a meeting and use, although I would be inclined to use a Chinese tea cup to avoid burning my mouth. It is water tight, does not leak - as long as you don't over fill it. It is not perfect - the lid warms up to the touch - but I doubt any vacuum flask really is.3 year update: After three year regular use the nice matt black finish rubbed off the cap. The bottle's matt black surface is still okay. With just finger rubbing lightly the cap revealed a shinny stainless steel leaving the circular top still black. I could spray-paint it black but it looks fine like it is.

Good for a second purchase
I received the infuser as a birthday present. Immediately I thought the infuser was a thing of beauty. The shiny metal does not buckle and the holes are fine enough to keep sediments out of your drink. The lid is secure and won’t come out with vigorous shaking of the bottle. The flask is just the right size for a medium sized drink. So I bought another for a cherished friend!

It's amazing, just get it
First of all, the packaging this comes in is SO beautiful that I felt guilty throwing it away 😬It's incredibly sturdy, clearly well made, and it feels like it could stand being jostled in a bag on my 30 minute walk to work no problem. The seal once it's closed is fantastic, though that DOES mean that sometimes some moisture is hidden in the seam and runs down the bottle when it's opened for the first time after filling. But that's probably just be not figuring out the water levels yet.I'm using it for loose yerba maté leaves and it's PERFECT! I just add the leaves to the infuser, fill the bottle with honey water and let it do its thing. My only worry is that I'll underestimate how hot it keeps the water and burn myself so I find myself drinking verrryyyy slowly. But this is probably a good thing because I tend to have an asbestos mouth and should probably break that habit.Tl;dr: just buy it. I had been thinking about it for ages and I wish I had gotten it sooner.

Exactly what I wanted!
I treated myself to some strawberry flavoured loose black tea leaves from a famous store. To be drunk hot or once brewed chilled with lemon over ice. This is ideal and once brewed kept the tea hot as it was enjoyed. Looks good enough to have been bought at F&M too🤭
