A Very Cost Effective Update for Our Car
This was a much less expensive update to the maps for our car. We swapped it with the car off and when I started it the navigation system didn't miss a beat, the new information was immediately available. This was as easy as it gets.

Went for a long road trip with it out west. It worked fine 99% of the time however when I was in Rapid City South Dakota it got all screwed up. Had to use my cell phone as a back up. For the price and if you have a back up it is a good purchase.

Don’t waste your money on this.
Ford Motor Company doesn’t require this information to update your navigation system in your Ford. It cost me a lot of money, which I charged it on my Ford Visa card. Ford updates your navigation system as updates are available. This money is unrefundable. My system was great for my 2019 Ranger Denali before installing this, which I couldn’t and was told I needed to contact them and have it downloaded by Wi-Fi, which takes at least one hour while your vehicle is running. If you should stop it for any reason, you’ll have to start from the beginning again. It ruined my navigation system. Many streets mph were lowered, which should’ve not been changed, and many cities which we’re correct had been changed. I disputed the charges and after many months they have not responded to refund my purchase. I’m not being held responsible for the charges but I would like to have it settled.

Was a little unsure about ordering this for the price. The dealership quoted me almost $200 for a new SD card for my 2016 Lincoln MKZ. Luckily they were out. Have me an invoice with all the information on it. I put in the numbers off invoice on Amazon search. It did come back and said may or may not work for your car. Haven’t used it a lot. Had to use it to go to my new specialist appointment which was over a hour away. Used it a few times around city I live in. Had work each time. Had a small issue when going from home to interstate. The old one did that also. Live very close to interstate and several different ways you can get to it. Once I got to the interstate which is probably 3 to 5 minutes from house. It rerouted with no problems.
