Works great and is UL listed
Sticks on the tank and keeps a nice warm spot for my gecko. There is no off or on switch which is fine for my setup but if you want an adjustable one look elseware. Still it is perfectly functional as it is and you can be sure it will be safe and durable.

Great product!
This product works very well, especially for the price. I have bought a few of these over the last year and I haven’t had any problems, they are all working perfectly. You definitely need a thermostat when using this uth, it gets extremely hot without one but that’s to be expected. The adhesive is very durable and strong, I had to move the heater from one tank to another at one point and it’s still sticking well to the new tank. Overall this is an awesome product that gets the job done well.

Good for insects
I put the heat pad on a part of the terrarium where they never explored. A few days later and I see two fat roaches piled on top of eachother, warming themselves up. Cheap and I would recommend.

Fine, but not great. Not for 10 gallons.
This heater works okay to keep the tiny habitat (12 x 8 x 8)" about 60 degrees. I still need to use a heater in the room. Since the Mantis does not hang out on the side with the heating pad, I assume it is warm enough. It certainly isn't too warm. One big problem is that it is not moveable. Once it is placed, it's stuck there for good. The other problem is that it has no temp control. So, I cannot turn it up or down at all. It's a very simple heater for a very small tank. It certainly would not warm a 10-20 gallon tank. This is more for a 5-qt tank.

Excellent UTH!!! (but always use with a thermostat control no matter the brand)
I had to replace a very old UTH at long last. I picked a different big name brand, and the glue wouldn't stick at all, making it pretty useless as the cage (aquarium) I needed it on is on the top of a double stand and open underneath. I was attracted to these because they are water resistant, heavy construction (not just a flimsy thin piece of heating element plastic like some name brand reptile UTHs), and used 3M heat strength glue to hold them on. This heat pad really puts out the heat, but no matter what brand I use, I learned the very hard way a long time ago, you have to use a thermostat controller with them!!! AND check the temp every so often because eventually the thermostat controllers die too, and when they die they may just fry your animal, not stop heating. I had purchased some smaller UTHs by iPower before to use as wall heating supplements as some of my cages are very large and hence not the easiest to heat. These are excellent UTHs!!! As good as the very best name brand reptile ones, if not better!!! And cheaper!!! I just finished upgrading my python cages, and almost every UTH I had to replace, and when I need to add new ones to increase the heat on hot end, I've used this brand. Wonderful and if I need more UTHs in the future, I will be getting these. (22 years keeping reptiles)

Perfect for a 12x12x18 crested gecko terrarium
This fits perfectly on my 12x12x18 crested gecko terrarium! I slapped this bad boy on the side of my bio-active terrarium because we were getting down to 68° and I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on heating my entire house. This heat pad came in clutch! Works great and we’re holding a nicccce 70-72 now which is what I wanted.

Does NOT get warmer than 74F!!
I purchased this to keep my 40 gallon tank warm for our hermit crabs. I live in Texas so the ambient temperature was 68 - 71 degrees in the room where they are. I set up the heat pad and thermostat easily following the directions and set 80 degrees as the goal temperature. The temperature read when I started was 73. Despite waiting 48 hours, the temperature never reached 80F. It has been over a week, and the temperature has never risen. I have a thermometer / humidity gauge in the tank that corroborated that the tank never warmed past 74FI worry what would happen if I didn't have a thermostat attached to know the this heat pad is a piece of junk! My poor pets would be in an unfit temperature. Now I have to get the damn thing off the tank somehow to return it. Pain in the neck. They should refund without return of the pad. Happy to send back the thermostat.
