My son wanted a xylophone for his birthday. This one has been great. He likes to play with it and it has remained in good working order over several months of play.My ordering/delivery experience was very bad, but that's Amazon's fault and not the product itself. Probably should have bought this elsewhere.

Our 4 year old grand daughter loves playing it

The tuning is very good! That was my main purpose, to find the exact pitch for chanting vowel sounds. You will see in my photo that I made my own chart. This has worked great. My granddaughter played with it and sounded wonderful, and she doesn't know how to play! You can play it softly or louder, but the sound is never is never irritating.

The notes are perfect. I bought this for my grand daughter and had to use smaller sticks but she loves it.

I have a variety of musical instruments to encourage music play along while singing songs along watching videos. Never to early to start. Excellent for toddlers.

Fun to use

The sound on the xylophone is really nice and smooth, and my kids ages nine and seven have enjoyed playing it. The carrying case is bonus as well. However, my oldest child removed some of the pins that hold the metal plates in place and they are very sharp. So unfortunately, they are not glued or riveted in place and will come apart. So be careful when using this around kids that tend to be more curious or like to disassemble things! Definitely gave us a scare!
