Works better than soil!
All the pictured seedlings were germinated on the same day. The soil used is a mix of Fox Farms Ocean and Happy Frog. The Rockwool cubes were soaked in 6.2 ph reverse osmosis water. Humidity domes were used on both soil and Rockwool, same lights, PPFD measured at 180 PPFD at the soil level on all, in the same grow tent with the same temperatures, relative humidity and air intake / ventilation.As you can see the Rockwool seedlings are out growing the soil seedlings by 1.25” on average at day 5. I’m sold.
