Washed out appearance

As someone that spends time indoors my complexion is more pale than the average user. All other webcams that I have used show me in a normal light but this webcam completely washed me out. No matter what lighting I used (natural, lamp, no light) I looked like a ghost. No alterations to any settings made any difference.This was to be expected for the price. The overall quality was good, it's just a shame about how it captures the light.
