I have seen elaborately painted models displayed at car shows and racing events over the years, and never knew what they were called. As an avid collector of die cast replicas and sports car souvenirs of all types, I was excited to find this for my collection. While the intent may be to exhibit OEM quality paints for enthusiasts in all manners of light and direction, I wanted these models for my automobilia collections. A much different conversation piece than common retail store toys. That may not be the intended reason for sale, but I’m just as happy with the order.

As another review stated. There are no hanging clips as said in product description.

Like the title states, the product itself was fine but three out of the five speed shapes that I had ordered arrived cracked. Luckily, these were bought for personal use and not for display or to show a client. For me, it wasn't a big deal, but I would assume for some, it would be.

They did not come with the clips to hang with

These speed shapes are made out of a thick plastic that doesn't bend easily. They arrived in good condition and I was able to get a nice finish using my airbrush and acrylic paint without much prep work.These do have a glossy finish, so I would recommend sanding and degreasing prior to priming to avoid adhesion problems.

This five piece speed shape package is great for showing how colors will look once laid on a multi angle substrate. The shapes are also great for mounting to a display wall to show potential customers your work. Made of some sort of plastic, they are easy enough to hit with 600-800 grit sandpaper prior to priming and then painting. I highly recommend this product.
