Title: Disappointing Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop Falls ShortI recently purchased the Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop from BNFGD, and I must say, my excitement quickly melted away like ice cream on a hot summer's day. This scoop, touted for its durability and functionality, turned out to be a complete disappointment.First and foremost, the trigger release mechanism is abysmal. Instead of smoothly releasing the ice cream with a satisfying click, it requires Herculean strength to coax even the smallest scoop out of it. It's as if the trigger is taunting you, daring you to try and pry out your dessert. My hand feels like it's getting a workout at the gym, not scooping ice cream in the comfort of my own home.But wait, it gets worse. Within a mere month of use, I noticed something alarming – rust. Yes, you read that correctly. Rust on a supposedly stainless steel scoop. I couldn't believe my eyes. It's like the scoop decided it wanted to look vintage, but instead of achieving a charming patina, it just looks neglected and poorly made. I expected better quality from a product in this price range.Overall, I would not recommend the Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop from BNFGD. Its weak trigger release and propensity for rust make it a regrettable purchase. Save yourself the disappointment and invest in a scoop that won't leave you feeling like you're battling a medieval torture device every time you want a scoop of ice cream.

Great ice cream scoop, comes off easily, we even use it to put mash on our boys plates, great size 2/3 scoops is plenty

As I took this scoop out of the package, I felt something sharp on my finger!! I took it out completely and did it again which surprised me.The ratchet part which moves to release a ball of ice cream, has a little 'cog' thing on which the edges are so sharp!If you were using it quickly, it could do your finger damage!I was so annoyed, I just thru it in the bin and went and ordered a better one!It MAY have just been the one I received which, perhaps, hadn't been refined enough, so I don't want to upset anyone!All I'm saying is, just be aware of the wee cog!! I've got 2 small grandson's and when I make them a cone or something, I tend to rush and I was worried is all!! I mean, it was perfect apart from that one flaw!

Smooth action used as potato scoop at present

I am not impressed with the quality and the release of the scoop is not good at all and I am not a person who gives negative reviews about anything however this is the first negative review I have ever made. It is possibly the worst ever ice cream scoop ever
