I first bought the Yaqin 500B amp to listen music. Surprisingly, the amp's sound quality is very pure and detailed in all frequency ranges. I used a Tannoy x3 mercury speaker with 89db sensitivity and set the volume at 1/3 of the 500B but all frequencies were clearly heard, including the singer's breathing. it's so great.

This is my first time listening to a SET 300b amplifier. Also, my speakers are about 85db efficient. The music volume is satisfyingly loud, rich in detail. Full frequency response top to bottom including true low frequency. The front panel UV meter is sensitive to the music recorded "gain" and content providing a true indication of sound volume helping you set the volume for the fullest tonality from the source material. One of the very best amplifiers I have heard.
