So this seems to be a point of contention in the Tacoma world. Some say just use the tether and hang cap in the door catch. I did that for awhile. But thought I would give this product a try. Easy install and low cost and Amazon return policy made it tempting to give a shot. Very glad I did. Although the tether does work, this is in my humble opinion a better option. And I'm puzzled why these are factory. But that's for someone else to figure out. Overall, great product and great buy.

Perfect little upgrade.
This worked perfectly for my needs. Too bad it didn't come factory with it like my 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner did. The quality of material is thick as well and should last many years.
