Durable and Perfect for Pets
I needed a stronger screen that could handle my pets, and this one has been amazing The material is thick and durable, resisting scratches and claws much better than standard screensInstallation was easy, and the charcoal color looks great while still allowing plenty of airflow and visibility The size was perfect for my door, and I was able to cut it to fit without any troubleThis product offers great value for money, excellent functionality, and is easy to use If you have pets and need a reliable, long-lasting screen, this is a fantastic choice Highly recommend

Heavy, strong fabric
Replaced the damaged screen on my sliding patio door. Incredibly easy to install. The screen comes on a roll, so I removed the old screen and spline, cleaned and wiped down the door frame, then unrolled the fabric onto the door. It's heavy material, so it didn't keep rolling up again like wrapping paper, for example. I bought the .120" spline (25') and a spline tool separately, not as a kit.I started the spline at the middle of the bottom of the frame, and started to work my way around. It really helps to keep pressure on the spline while you're applying it--it thins it a bit and it'll be difficult to get into the groove, otherwise. Used one hand for pulling on the spline and keeping the fabric slightly taught (it'll tighten up as you insert spline around the frame), and the other for rolling the spline tool. Very, very easy, even for me. I consider myself somewhat clumsy, and figured I'd screw up this job and have to restart, but it came out almost perfectly. The only problem was trimming the leftover material after finishing the splining. You need a very sharp tool to make it easy (maybe an X-acto knife), but be careful not to trim the fabric on the inside of the spline, or you'll undo all your work. I had a couple close calls, but avoided disaster. The fabric seems sturdy enough to keep my cats in, and I've seen a photo of a cat hanging from it, so I think it should hold up much better than the thin stuff that came with the door.

Love this stuff
The media could not be loaded. Purchase a roll of this several years ago to fix the screen door dog head scratched through. Had the opposite one go out this summer as well and decided to get another role. This product is durable and built to stand high heats and cold climates. We live in a desert area That has both 110° summer days and -20° winters and has sustained it all. Installation may take you a little bit of time but I promise it’s worth it. Do yourself a favor and buy the screen door rolling tool. It will make the process go much quicker and less tedious. Our front screen door has a small hole and I know we need to replace it, and we plan to buy another roll of this stuff again.

BEST SCREEN EVER!!
I have 2 80# German Shepherd Dogs, and normally, I would replace a screen and the VERY next day, it would be all clawed and trashed. My dogs jump up on the screen door to let me know they want in (or out), and there goes the screen. I received 2 rolls of this screen Monday, and immediately replaced the screens in both of my doors. I have to say, I am VERY impressed. Neither of them even have a slight snag, tear, rip - NOTHING. I bought 2 of the large rolls of this screen and I am SO glad I did. I will be replacing the screens throughout my home that my GSD can access.Just as a footnote, I am using the same spline that came out of each window. I have had to apply a bit more pressure to get the screens in, but they are in and the spline is nice and tight. THIS SCREEN WORKS!!!UPDATE 10-23-19: ALL of the windows I replaced screens in with Adfors have been in place for 30+ days and ZERO holes. This screen is AMAZING! It really works!

Beware DYI
I replaced the screens on 2 sliding glass door units with this tougher-than-nails stuff. Believe me, this screening is almost bullet proof but it can be a real bear to install. Now for the do-it-yourself folks out there who might be tempted to replace a screen with this material. It's thicker and much stiffer than a conventional screen and therefore requires a lot of effort and a thin enough spline (I used .160" diameter splines). There are two things I discovered while working with this screening material. The first secret (learned by me only after several failed attempts) is to carefully install one long edge - making sure to keep things very square. Then install the opposite long edge, stretching the screening as you go. Next install the short edges - again making sure to stretch the screening slightly as you go. The second secret is to use the convex side of the roller to pre-groove the screen itself just before pressing in the spline. I found more success using the convex roller rather than the grooved (concave) roller for both pre-grooving and spline installation. If you see any sags or bulges along the way, pull out some of the spline, re-groove the screen and reinsert the spline. Then go for the corners - pulling out and reinserting spline (use convex roller again) until the entire screen is stretched evenly. Of course you have to anchor the frames using tape or clamps before even starting the job.The installation process I've tried to describe above is not easy. It requires plenty of time and considerable strength. I did my screens on a large layout table and I'm sure that working on a floor would be much more difficult. The next time I have to replace this Pet D-Fence Screening, I'll get it professionally done. The good news is that it's so tough I'll probably never have to replace it again.
