Perfect fit for my faucet hose

I was upgrading my RV bathroom faucet. I did my kitchen faucet many years ago and had to search hardware stores to finally find the right fittings. And now, here on Amazon, the correct fitting is available, and easy to find. They worked perfectly to match my RV plumbing connectors to a standard faucet. Thanks.

We rent a house with water lines with a half inch diameter for the kitchen sink. It seems that 90% of kitchen faucets are now 3/8 inch making it nearly impossible to replace our current faucet. This conversion kit was perfect for connecting the two different size hoses!

The outside threads are correct, but in an rv application the 1/2 mip won't even begin to go into the rv fitting because the I.d. of the adapter is too small. The 3/8 compression is the same way. The I.d. is so small that it'd never begin to crush the sealing ring on the faucet fitting. In the pictures the right is the adapter I ended up making. I didn't want to wear out drill bits trying to make the fittings work.

I used these to adapt a Home faucet into my 2000 Lance truck camper, worked perfectly.
