Small Animal House.
Well packaged item with clear instructions and all the fixings needed to assembly. Strong, well made and weatherproof - this hutch is an ideal small animal (day) home. It is used as the day home for the 2 guinea pigs during while they are inside their wire run enclosure, safe from the Great British weather! I can close the small ramp and then carry them back to safety to the shed and their hutch each night.2 very happy and secure guinea pigs are a testament to this product.

Great little house
Brilliant shelter for cats too! I bought this for my oldest cat as he is a wanderer and is not always home when I go to bed and I don't like to think of him out in the cold and rain. He loves it....I added some thick plastic and sheets of brown paper, which came as part of the packaging, under a cushion for insulation and comfort. I can say that he sometimes prefers to sleep in his little shelter even when the kitchen door is open. I also found my other two cats snuggled in it one morning when they were not back at night. It is warm, watertight and just the right size for a cat. I have owned this for a few months now and it is has withstood snow, frost and heavy rain. Cheaper than installing a cat flap in a double glazed door and does the job intended.

CAT HOME
This was purchased as an outdoor shelter for our two feral wildcat crossbreeds who appeared in our garden one day and decided to stay.. It arrived and was as described, It was easily assembled by one person, with some "help" from my Cocker Spaniel who fitted into it when it was fully assembled. It has been outside for some months now and has withstood rain, hail, snow, frost and heavy winds. It would be useful to have a catch to secure the lid but I placed a large stone on top of the roof. My only problem was that the front door did not fit as well as the rest of the hutch and it swells in damp weather rendering it somewhat useless as a door, having to remain open.On the whole a very good item, it still looks good.

Perfect for purpose
This is a perfect shelter for rabbits when out in a wire run. It connects via a drawbridge which can be slotted through the wire run as shown in the picture. THis is NOT a rabbit hutch but an extra little weather shelter which means our bunnies can go out in their run even of damp days. It hasn't leaked so far and we have had a fair amount of rain. Rabbits seem to like it and makes the little monkeys a bit easier to catch when they don't want to go home. Mu daughter chases them into the hut then closes the door and the bunnies can be lifted out quickly and easily through the roof. Much better than crawling around on your knees trying to catch them in the run! We find it is just about big enough for 2 medium sized bunnies to cuddle up together out of the rain.

Nice size and construction
I would start by saying the delivery service was awful. I stayed in all day waiting for it to arrive, thinking the delivery hadn't come only for my neighbour to knock at the end of the day saying I had a box at my back door. Yes, Yodal had not bothered to knock on my door and decided to dump it on my back doorstep. Not helpful. The house itself is pretty cool, good solid wood construction which was easy to put together (says I who had my other half knock it together!). The downside, my rabbits don't want to go in it because of the strong smell of the wood protection. It smells like a creosoted shed. Now my guinea pigs on the other did like it. So much so that they decided they liked the taste of it resulting in one of the guinea pigs needing £150s worth of veterinary treatment. A piece of wood lodged in my guinea pig's mouth causing a horrible ulcer. Not good. The guinea pigs are now banned from going near it.It would be a good rabbit house if it didn't smell so bad.

Good solid small shelter
We use this as a small shelter for our rabbits fitted against the outdoor play pen specifically advertised with this shelter (see link below). It works perfectly in that context - the drop-down door does go neatly through into the pen. Nicely made and finished and is as good as pictured. If using for rabbits I recommend either resting a weight on the top, or adding a catch to the lid to stop them pushing up the lid and escaping! It's not big enough for a permanent home for rabbits - only as added shelter. See Large Rabbit Run Fox Proof Cage For use with Or without hutch.

Arrived broken
The item arrived broken, and fell apart in a separate area upon construction.I managed to fix it up to a usable condition (rather than go to the trouble of returning it - especially given that I purchased it as emergency accommodation for a sick chicken, and waiting for a return and replacement would have been problematic), and offered the seller the option of giving me a 50% refund (which would have also saved them the outlay of return postage), but weeks later I am still haggling with them - the best they have been prepared to offer is a £10 refund.Avoid this seller.

ideal guineapig shelter
came quicker than anticipated. I put this together fairly quickly whilst watching tv as instructions are simple and all the pieces fitted perfectly. Has been out in heavy rain and guineapigs remained dry. I have put a wicker basket inside for their straw as this gives them a bit more protection from the wind. Did think about making doorway a bit smaller but in very bad weather it can easily be moved to a more sheltered part of the garden as light weight.
