Q: Can this tool crimp the MC4 solar connectors?

No, it´s too wide, you can´t only crimp the bare cable, it´ll grab the cover tabs. You need 1/4" wide yaws and these are 3/8" or 7/16" wide.

Q: Will this work with Metri-Pack ?

Not 100%. You can crimp the wire end, but seals will be deformed. H6 and H7 dies are for metri- and weather pack. Not part of this kit.

Q: Will this work on heat shrink wire connectors? i don't want to damage the heat shrink seal. what jaw setup would be best to use for that style?

Yes it will. Use the insulated terminal die. There's no need use severe pressure when crimping these connectors. Good luck.

Q: Can this tool crimp molex connections?

Yes, absolutely. Just to be clear, each pin connector(male or female) is crimped onto the each wire individually with this crimper tool and then they are inserted into the plastic molex connector housing.
