Great item, this kept 8 pens of different insulin types cold between flights and travel to airports in 27 degree heat. The ice packs are more than suitable but you can also keep some zip bags to fill with ice if you are ever caught out somewhere.Well made and very durable. My only thought, it could do with a thermometer/ temp indicator. Although I carry a little digital one that sits in the case, that would complete the product. Love the brand!

Fine, but not if you're flying. The gel packs are a problem and they will not be acceptable in hand luggage; airline said they would be cool with them, but not their call and to expect resistance at the airport: 50/50 odds. Unfortunately I had to bin the packs at security. I was almost certain they were going to be an issue so I wasn't particularly surprised or heartbroken when they were refused. Other than that, the case is good. Without the gel packs it's a bit bulky, though I felt a little less paranoid that I would accidentally crush my medication.
