Dremel Parts 2610009839 Shaft Lock Assembly

I had a Dremel 3000 that I could not stop the shaft from rotating to change bits. This is an inexpensive part that was easily changed in about 20 minutes with several Utubes showing how to do it. After this repair it was as good as new.

Perfect Fit - resolved the problem

When my locking pin got worn down on my Dremel I was set to replace the Dremel, but then ran across this and it works great. A $7 part beats replacing a $50 Dremel. The part exactly matched the part I was replacing, so no issues at all with installing it.

This fit the Dremel 3000 perfectly. This is a direct fit for the stock piece, not an upgrade, so I know this one will round off and fail eventually. For such a simple part they should come in a 2 pack for the same price. It's not a problem with the part quality, but Dremel's design of the shaft locking pin. Now that I know it fits, I'll buy a second one to keep in my toolbox,

Quik delivery and easy to install.But dull from second use for unwone reason. I think my dremel shaft is the problem as it gettin worn a bit.

I've had my Dremel 3000 for years now and it finally stripped and wouldn't let me tighten the bits down..it would just roll around the push button. I was just about to pull the trigger on a new one and I saw this fix on a video...easy fix..took about 5 minutes and its like new again. Save yourself some bucks and just fix it. Nice to know we can get repair parts for these...I had no idea.

Does not work. Dremels plastic knows don't hold the to in place to remove the bit. Save your money and time and just throw it the tool.
