Switching Power Supply PSU 850W ATX with 12cm Silent Black Fan/for PC Computer/iCHOOSE

Have a lot of so called cheap power supply's all dating back a very long time only a couple have the so called bronze rating. some even came with cheap cases. a couple have been used in CCTV systems turned on and left on for years. So had no hesitations what so ever in buying this powerhouse single rail cheap as chips PSU. Unboxed plugged it left on for 24 hour all OK. Nice and quiet well packaged stable and hove no doubt it will plod along for years even with the so call strip down to see what caps it has etc. Great cheap product that does what it says on the tin.

This 850w PSU is good value at just under £40 and it comes with numerous cables/connectors, so it's very unlikely you will need more than supplied, even if you still have older equipment needing the 4 pin Molex type, that used to be universal.Fitting was easy, as expected, and the fan is very quiet.The only thing that is slightly concerning, is the temperature of the case next to the PSU, which gets almost too hot to touch. It's also very obvious when I walk into the computer room, just how warm it is.It seems to be more effective than a heater and it makes me wonder just how much power is being turned into heat rather than computations.I've only played The Long Dark since I installed it and I don't expect that uses a huge amount of power to run, so it could be very inefficient.

Been using this without issue for many months now. Went from a 650w chugging away to this and was very impressed. Silent and powerful. Fully recommended.

It worked less than 48hrs. Just office work. Draw perhaps 300W out of it. ShameWasted time with all the cable management...

Definitely can’t complain about the power and amount and range of connectors for the price.
