Slightly different diameter than the Kalita wave shipped directly from the company
It's 1-2mm off in diameter vs. the WDG-185 Kalita Wave with the black bottom shipped directly from the company. This causes an imperfect fit with the 185 filters (they pop up). Returned this product.

Too thin glass
A “hario V60 dripper” glass is double to glass thickness of this item. it looks so dangerous.Producer has to make this item glass thicker.May 6, 2024

Glass broke after a few uses
The glass is thin and fragile unlike some other well known glass coffee makers (Chemex, e.g. which has lasted a lifetime). It broke after a few uses when a teaspoon fell on it. It's very pretty, but should be made of tempered glass that holds up in the kitchen. As it is there are three pieces with sharp edges. Not even the cheapest water glass is this delicate. And this was too costly to not last for years. Big disappointment. Now I worry about the carafe. I guess it's back to the chemex for me!
