Cast aluminum
This is as handy of a tool as you will find if you’re a pipe smoker. And it does its job superbly, but because it’s made to fit a normal Bic lighter I had an issue. I use the pipe smoker Bic lighter with the tall stem that rises up from the lighter for smoking my pipes. This type of Bic lighter is made thinner so it will fall out of this case. I tried using a pair of pliers to squeeze the metal case closed just a tad so it would accommodate my type of lighter and a small piece of the metal broke off. That happened because it’s made from cast aluminum that’s prone to crack very easy. It would never happen under normal use. So be mindful of this fact and it’s a very good lighter case that has all the necessary tools. Gets an A+++ for user friendliness and a great idea. But could be made with better materials.
