Q: During my patrols I walk approximately 7 miles a shift, will these be problematic? Or will I be good

I also walk a lot on shift and these are great. They are a lot better then the Rockies I used to wear. Love them and they look good.

Q: Is the heel 90 degrees? (Perpendicular to the ground)

No it isn’t. The sole does extend slightly past the heel

Q: How do these fair on ice? I've had combat boots that are terrible during the winter months.

I cannot provide an answer for this because I haven't had them for a winter yet. Sorry!

Q: How durable is the high shine toe cap? Will they hold up to a rough shift on the street or will they scratch up easily?

I'd say on a scale of 1-10 is like a 6. They don't scratch easily and I wear them for 12 hour shifts
