I recently purchased a used 2018 Subaru Outback that did not come with the OEM cargo cover. After checking with the dealer, who wanted $200 for one, I found this on Amazon. Based on the good reviews I went ahead and ordered one. A few days later it showed up on my doorstep. Five minutes after that I had it installed in the car! Installation is brain-dead simple: just click the two sides into the factory slots, attach the four clips to the rear seat head rest posts, and you're done.As others have indicated, the only downside of the cover is that it doesn't totally match up to the sides of the cargo area, but for less than half the price, I'm perfectly fine with that. My car has heavily tinted rear windows, so it's already hard to see back there, and so long as you can move whatever is being stored in the cargo area toward the center, no one will be able to see it.Overall quality seems to be pretty good although it seems that the vinyl isn't as thick as the factory version. But again, for less than half the price, I'm more than happy with this purchase.

Works well in my 2019 Subaru Outback! Easy to install and take out as needed for storage and trunk space.

There weren't any instruction with the cover, but it's fairly intuitive. Once oriented correctly, it latches into place and you have to push the button on the right end to release and remove. There a four clips that snap onto the posts on the back seat head rests. That completely conceals any cargo in the rear of the vehicle. I only gave four stars for the value since I'm always looking for a better price (read.... I'm tight with a buck).

Seems like this will work fine, so I'll keep it. And it seems like it's good materials. Not sure if various Outback years have rear headrests in different locations, but if that's the case that may explain why the clips don't line up and puts folds in the cover. I don't think the headrests would be in different locations, so maybe this is a 'middle ground' and the company markets the same product for multiple cars. Coverage is good, although the flap near the back gate could be more stable rather than flop down. It'll do the job though.

Holy moly this actually works! I was a little hesitant because of the reviews but it DOES work. I just bought a 2017 Subaru Outback and it fits PERFECTLY.My guess is that many of the complaints come from folks who did not match their car and the cargo cover appropriately. But for my specific car, it works. It clips and fits onto everything it needs. It can also move it's flap back so that if you want to put your furbaby in the back, they'll have space.I love it. So glad I found it used on here. Definitely worth it.

I find this to be a great replacement for our Outback. The fabric is heavier than I expected and the operation is smooth. Fits like a glove. The side gap is just shy of an inch.
