I follow the instructions to “install” it correctly and it is magnetic my pencil sits on my ipad, but not once has it charged. I thought it might be my ipad cover so i took it off, the pencil still do not charge in this case, yes it is a nice case yes it feel better than without but if your after this so you don’t have to keep removing a case for it to charge, then don’t bother it was the whole point i bought it in the first place, i may end up returning it tbh. It is false advertising……

Yeah it looks good and I like the retro look. But it doesn’t charge the pen when you attach it to the iPad. Bit disappointed in that

I love how cute this looked. The only issue I had was that it did not pick up on my iPad but that was only due to my iPad case. When I tested the product without the case on my iPad the pencil did pick up and was charging.

Will not charge with sleeve on even on an iPad with no case on. It's useless

It’s adorable. I love that it doesn’t inhibit charging. Worth the money. Takes a little work to get it on though.

This 2nd Gen Apple Pencil Cover works well, It does not roll, the magnetic charging works, the switch tool double-tap works, and I can clip to my shirt. So basically, everything works. It is a little bulky and the top eraser section threatens to come off although I have never lost it. People comment that is looks cute like an old grammar school pencil which is fun. I am looking maybe for something a little less bulky but I definitely want to keep the shirt pocket clip and the wireless magnetic charging. So good product but maybe a little big for your average business user.
