Men's Leather Work Gloves with Adjustable Wrist, Extra Large (Wells Lamont 1132), Saddletan

i got these cowhide leather gloves for my girlfriend because i was hoping she was gonna be out in the pasture helping me clean up after the cows, and since she treats me so well she deserved some solid hand protection... and let’s be real, i didn’t want to hear any complaints about mystery sludge, questionable mud, or straight up cow poop getting on her hands... these gloves turned out to be a win for both of us... thick, durable, and comfortable right out of the package... she put them on and flexed her fingers like she was about to wrangle a bull... the leather is tough but flexible and surprisingly soft.. almost as soft as the lamb skin ones i have, and the reinforced palm patch means you’re hopefully not gonna wear through them in a week... plus, the adjustable strap actually keeps them in place and keeps dirt(poop) from sneaking in, which is a nice bonus when you’re wrist deep in pasture clean-up duty... if you’re looking for gloves that can handle farm work, heavy duty chores, or just protecting your hands from whatever nastiness life throws at you, these appear to be a solid choice... highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their hands intact while dealing with the great outdoors... or in my case, to keep my girlfriend from swearing off farm work forever...

Great gloves and work well for active winter sports but contact with ski skin adhesive will result in tiny pieces of the gloves' yellow surface treatment remaining on the skin. Perhaps these can be removed with cleaning (a meticulous process) or perhaps will have no affect at all - just be aware. I did not have this problem with guide gloves (expensive) but will be sure to repeat a heavy dose of conditioner and waterproofing prior to use next winter.

Use them every week and love them

leather feels good and fits nicely. The little balls on the strap to tighten broke off within the first day of use. Not a deal breaker as I tied a knot in the end to keep the strap from pulling through the buckle, but a little annoying for something that is new. Would have been five stars if not for that little detail.

Great for working in the yard. Real leather. Nice fit. Good gloves for the money.

Very good for the price. I got XL and they fit but just a little tight. But over all i am pleased with the purchase and would purchase again.

These gloves are tough and yet flexible for fairly good dexterity. I, like most men, have abused these gloves. I don't treat them nice. They get wet, I use them while chainsawing, picking/hauling wood, rocks, dirt, etc. They hold up very well. I am ordering a new pair due to my left glove getting cut slightly from an accident I had while working.
