A fantastic little monitor that is great value for money. Very easy to set up, just plug and play! We're using it as a screen for an Xbox and you just plug the HDMI and USB-A cables into the back of the Xbox and it's ready to go. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant with the chance to get 120fps from some games.16" is plenty big enough for what we needed it for and it's so thin and light it's easy to pack away when we've finished using it. The speakers are a little tinny but it's such a thin unit it's unsurprising, not that it matters at all if using a headset.All in all very happy with my purchase, also registered for the free 2 year warranty which was very easy.

I bought one of these portable screens to have as an extra screen when working at home. The screen works brilliantly with the laptop and the image is great. (It wasn’t plain sailing in the beginning).Unfortunately my laptop is not one of the compatible ones that are specified, but only found this out afterwards. This meant I really battled in the beginning to get it to work. I also tried, as they instructed by using a power cable, but to no avail.I then discovered that you need a certain Voltage and Amperage (5V and 3A) plug, so once I sorted that out, it worked like a charm and very straightforward. I had to use the mini HDMI cable.I also tried connecting the Nintendo Switch and that all worked brilliantly too, so it has multiple uses as they described.The image is clear and crisp on both devices. You can even connect your phone, but the image isn’t as sharp as your phone, but a great way to use Sky Go on your phone using this portable screen when travelling.Overall it is a fantastic gadget that can now also be used as a TV screen for the kids if we are traveling using either of the devices.

Built-in speakers are fine for casual use, though you’ll want headphones or external speakers for better sound.The folding cover works as a stand, but it’s a little flimsy on uneven surfaces. Still, it protects the screen well when packed away.Overall, a very capable, highly portable monitor that delivers on speed and quality — great value if you need a flexible extra screen.

I have been looking for a monitor to use when working from home and looking at various reviews felt confident to go ahead with buying this specific model. The build quality is very good and not plasticky. The display is full HD and does support the stated refresh rates. The screen seems to be matte finish and text looks very legible. My primary use for this monitor is for the days I do work from home and occasionally with my iPad when I am editing pictures or watching videos. When using with a laptop or desktop computer you need to ensure if the usb c supports display output else you will need to use mini hdmi connection which will need to be powered additionally by usb. This can be done from laptop’s super speed usb-a port which can power this monitor using the included usb-a to usb-c cable. I have read many reviews where people are using external plug to power the monitor which is really not required if your computer has usb-a super speed port (this is usb-a port with blue colour inside). No additional drivers required to make this monitor work and your graphics controller app ( in my case Nvidia app) can be used to check the various refresh rates and resolution options it supports. I recommend it as a VFM buy especially when it’s on sale.

I stay away from home a lot due to work and often find myself in work accomodation.This screen along with an XG Mobile 3080, keyboard, mouse, and controller enables me to be able to take a full compact desktop setup with me when travelling to play games or stream box sets when in my work accomodation, and if I want to play on the go I just unplug the Ally and throw it in my work bag leaving everything else set up.The screen quality is certainly good enough for gaming although the HDR is not particularly great. Sound quality is on the tinny side of things but is perfectly serviceable.It's well made and solid with an aluminium body, all the cables you need are in the box, and works at 144hz as advertised. Weighs practically nothing.Excellent product and perfect for my use case.

This portable monitor arrived just two days ago. I used it off-site on the first day without any issues. However, by the second day, I discovered that the screen was completely cracked across all areas. I was extremely careful during transfers, using both the protective sleeve it came with and the recommended laptop case purchased alongside it. I even kept my laptop in its own separate case to avoid any pressure or impact.Despite these precautions, the device is now damaged and no longer usable. It appears to be exceptionally fragile, and overall I am very disappointed.
