New Star Foodservice 37425 French Fry Cutter Replacement Pushing Plate, 1/2-Inch

These are very heavy duty suction feet meant for a french fry cutter. I wanted to try them on a hand operated Victoria meat grinder. Work well on a hard smooth surface such as a stainless steel work station or marble table top.

Solid Constructio, sharpe blaces and solid performance, fits perfectly and cuts smaller French Fries than the larger blade that came with the Machine. I use these smaller French fries when the thicker cut one are not needed or wanted.

Bought the blade as a replacement as our original get damaged. Works really great, east to use and really sturdy. The feet, suction cups, are really good. Does not move while cutting potatoes.

I'm giving this product only four stars because our original - the one this goes to- broke after two years! I'm not sure about this replacement, but I will update as needed.We LOVE to make sweet potato frys, and broke numerous plastic fry cutters before finding this awesome machine. It works fantastically, except after two years it too bent and the metal shredded -with one particularly hard sweet potato, maybe?I thought we'd get more than just two years of intermittent use. It didn't seem like a lot of handling. It is, however, a great machine, especially when comparing to other french fry cutters. My mom just bought a $25 plastic one to use with an Air Fryer, and on the second use (with sweet potatoes) the metal bent and small shreds came off - probably onto the potatoes! I had to bring my industrial fry cutter over... and get her one too!I hope these replacement plates last longer than the originals on the machine. honsetly though, as long as the price doesn't go up, I would pay to replace the parts on this machine about every 2 years. At $10 for the replacent piece, and $60-$80 ( I think it went up since I bought it!) for the machine, yiu are looking at a little while before you get a return on your investment, but if you eat French frys/ sweet potato frys like I do, than it won't take long! A little over a one pound bag of Organic at Safeway is typically around ~$6-7. And even organic sill usually has unwanted additives. The organic sweet potatoes I buy in bulk from Costco, 5 lbs or so, is for approx $7-9. In just a couple of bags of sweet potatos, you'd have earned back your investment and would be starting to save money!

When I bought the French fry cutter, it didn't include this size. So, I decided to buy the 1/4 inch blade and pusher which I had to buy separately. I love the French fry cutter as it cuts everything so much easier than the previous cutter I had. The 1/4 blade requires a bit more pressure than the larger sizes since it is making so many more cuts. With my previous fry cutter, even my husband couldn't cut the larger fries with it. I had to buy the pusher separately, but it's well worth it to be able to cut French fries so easily.It should be noted this blade will fit only the table mounted cutter. I accidentally bought the 1/4 inch blade set for the wall mounted cutter, and the mounting screws are in different places. In addition the wall mount model uses pushers made of plastic. The pusher for the table model is made of metal.I hope this review was helpful for you.

Needed a replacement because I used too large a potato and forced it thru cutting blade…..Not a fault of the product!

This cutter for potatoes works great. When you want an easier way of getting many at once and a better taste. This is a better option. It is quite easy to put together and take apart.
