I'm a graphic designer and needed a second monitor at home for work. I didn't have a huge budget, so I spent a lot of time looking through reviews of monitors around the same price, and this is the one I ended up getting.It was shipped in the LG box, but luckily I was home when I arrived and it didn't sit outside for very long. Everything was packed nicely in the box and there was no damage to the box or the monitor.It came with an HDMI cable, which was a nice surprise but I had already bought one.It also came with a stand but I planned on mounting it onto an arm attached to my desk. The monitor is lightweight so mounting it was not difficult at all. It fits the standard 75mm mount so finding one I could use with it was not difficult, and it fit perfectly.It has a button on the bottom to access settings, where you can change the brightness, etc.There are no speakers in the monitor itself, so you'll need speakers or Bluetooth headphones if you don't already have them.I primarily do graphic design with this monitor, but I also play video games, and the picture is good for both.Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. Having dual monitors has increased my productivity at work, and has also made doing graphic design easier, in that I can see things better. If you're looking for a decent monitor but don't want to break the bank, get this one.

This is a very ordinary LCD display with 1920 by 1080 native resolution. It is easy to assemble out of the box with only two phillips screws being needed to hold the display to the stand. The display has a wide border (slightly over 1/2 inch on all four sides). It does not include a camera or speakers. It has both VGA and HDMI inputs. An HDMI cable is included which is a nice touch for a display this inexpensive. The picture is clear and colors look good although blacks are not very dark. The display is recognized by Windows as a "Generic PnP Monitor." No display drivers are needed. Power is provided from a "wall wart" power supply with a barrel plug connector on the back of the display. When I first turned it on, I had no picture because it defaulted to using the VGA input. Once I changed the input to HDMI, everything worked OK. The display can be tilted front to back but cannot be raised or lowered. Overall, I found this display to be adequate for my needs and good for everyday use. I am not a gamer so can't comment on that aspect.

This monitor works well--the description made me believe it would have super crisp display, but it's just the same as other (decent) monitors I've had. I am using it for home office purposes, not gaming. There are many different video display settings you can choose--too much for me to spend much time on. I don't like the multi-function button that also turns it off and on. For the price I paid, though, it is well worth it.

I find this to be an excellent monitor. I have it connected to an Apple Pro tower 6.1. It is physically light in weight easy to adjust once I got the hang of how the control works. It is located on the bottom in the middle and it's a push on and then move it to the right up down left to access the various menu options. You will get it once you try it out. Set and forget. Beautiful HD monitor. Price was right.

Excellent monitor for home/Office. I love resolution of the screen. Easy to connect with your PC. Item as well described. Good value for the money. Size is perfect for my needs. I use it for my studio and online classes and I don't have any complaints.
