It works fine. I have runout problems but.
I think my issues are my home brew MPCNC build and not this router. Don't hesitate to add it to your build I will likely purchase another for an out of the box youtube review once I can afford it.

Loud but strong
Air cooled, so it's quite loud. But doesn't bog down with pretty much any 1/8" bit I have thrown at it. Great way to update a smaller 6040 or similar cnc.

Looks cool but the experience was not
had it about a month and used it about 5 times and it died on me. I no longer own it. Not sure if I got a lemon however......

Beautiful little router spindle
Great budget spindle for general CNC usage. I use mine to cut foam so it handles the cuts with ease. Nice collection of collets.

Its big! Needs a 1/4" collet.
This is big unit! Larger than the name brand trim router I have been using on my CNCusing. I haven't had a chance to run it on my CNC, but I've test run it and its works fine. Variable speed dial slows it down and speeds it up as designed, and its seems to stay reasonably cool even when I let it run for a while. It really should come with a 1/4" collet though. Once I get it on the machine (too many things happening with the holidays) I'll report back if there are any issues.

Despite some oddities, the device itself seems to be a good value.
Despite some oddities, the device itself seems to be a good value. As the other reviewer mentioned, the collet is large. I'd love to get my hands on the rest of the NymoLabs cnc kit and see how it runs in it's intended environment. The pricing is great for DIYers.
