This thing is amazing, or at least as amazing as you could possibly get for a storage item.When i first opened the package i wasn't sure if this would be stable enough, as it is so big, and the poles comes in 4 separate pieces. However they slotted together perfectly and once placed on the door, and the baskets slotted on. (With ease i might add) It seems like a sturdy piece of kit, and believe me this thing can hold a TONNE of stuff.(See photo)What i didn't realise when i ordered was that the item comes with two sets of brackets. One set for doors up to 2 centimetres and the other for doors up to 4 centimetres. Ours is 3.5cms and the item is holding up really well to all the weight we have subjected to it. I am assuming however that if using the 2cm brackets you would probably have to be a little more friendly to it and put less weight in it.We live in rented accommodation so if and when we choose to move at least we have the other brackets incase we need them. Pretty perfect really, and really tidied up my bathroom. I'm thinking about buying Wenko 4340031100 Chrome Door Shelf with 2 Storage Baskets, 59 x 78.5 x 16.5 cm for my kitchen now!Brilliant space saver solution. Buy it.

I bought this to go over a door in my kitchen, to store lightweight items in. It was really easy to assemble and now it is screwed into the door, is sturdy and will hold plenty of things on the 4 shelves. It looks smart and there is a choice of hanging hooks to fit 2 door widths. I am happy with it as it gives me extra, hidden stroage.

baskets are not wide enough - they could be a few cm's wider. Enough to fit jars and tine - anything up to the width of a bag of flour I'd say. But apart from that I liked this item - created a extra storage space in an otherwise cramped kitchen. I fitted this to the side of a tall cupboard - they've predrilled slots so you just bend the metal door hangers a few times and the folded part of the metal just comes off. Very good design, no need to use a hacksaw.

I should have read the description more closely, as even the wide end of the hooks were too narrow for the door. However, due to clever design on the hooks, I was able to break off the tabs (bending back and forth several times) at the point of the 3 little holes that are pre-drilled through the metal. Then using the provided wall plugs and screws, I mounted it to the wall next to the door. Works a treat! It is quite narrow, but most of my goods fit in okay. I only wish I could get an extra shelf or two, as they are quite far apart. (Or maybe I need taller cans and boxes! ;-) Also, because of the way this is designed, you can mount the hooks to the wall, insert the shelf supports through, then close with the provided caps -- easy, peasy! Hmmm, there's another space on the wall over there....

Being rubbish at DIY and often giving up and, reading another review I put off unboxing this. As I really needed the storage with a deep breath I decided to give it a go. Well, what a surprise, it took all of 10 minutes and looks great behind my larder door. Quite sturdy and holds loads Looking for a smaller one now for behind the Bathroom door. Really happy with it.

This is a solidly made shelf unit and easy to set up. I have bog standard doors and it only just fitted over them. The baskets are big enough for most jars and tins and I've filled my unit with those and its strong enough to take the weight. If you have a lever door handle then hang this rack well clear of it! The over door hook at the top is thin but still grates slightly when I close the door. All in all this is good kit and very strong.

It's a bit flimsy but once installed you don't notice and it does the job - useful space saving storage.
