I gave this to my 12-year old aviation-crazy son in his Christmas stocking. It’s a hit! Very well made, it looks like it will last. He displays it proudly in his room on the stand, which was included.

I gave this to my friend and he loved it because me and him both like planes so I got one and he got one and he put it on his desk and he always admires the a380. The company that made this did a good job.

My nephew loves planes so I got this one to add to his collection. It is small enough so he can carry it around with him wherever he goes.

I liked its details

I'll lead off with the only downside to this replica, and that is the scale is incorrect. If you collect 1:400 scale aircraft, this one will not look correct if displayed alongside others. The A380 is an enormous aircraft, and unfortunately the manufacturer scaled it down and uses the 1:400 scale label incorrectly. The length and wingspan is roughly the same as other typical 1:400 display models, when it should be a bit larger since the A380 is a giant plane. While that may make it easier to display, it will look incorrect next to other planes or if used with airport props.Aside from being made smaller than it should be, the detail is quite good. There are imperfections, but not something that would be a concern at this price level- as it looks great from a few feet away. It assembles easily and everything stays tight- so it can be handled without concern for it coming apart. A great addition to any aviation enthusiast's office or home!

Love the detailed model to add to my collection

This is a solid, die-cast model, that is very well-built. There are several pieces that go together to make it, and you can tell that all of them are made of metal. The fuselage is one piece, the wings (together) are one piece, each horizontal stabilizer is one piece, and the vertical stabilizer is one piece. These pieces are all put together very well, and there is no looseness to any of them. Whatever method they used to attach them together, they did a great job. The fuselage, I'm not sure if it sounds solid or not - I lean toward it being holllow, but the remaining pieces are clearly solid.The stand is plastic, and comes as two pieces that you assemble easily. The base is clear and the upper is translucent, so your attention is not drawn away from the plane itself.I'm impressed with the detail on the model, whether it is painted on, or some other form of transfer art, it looks good, is detailed, and seems like it will last a long time without being peeled or chipped off.For the price, this is an excellent model of an A380. Photo with a ruler in order to give an accurate impression of scale.
