Behringer B1520PRO
Value for money, these are awesome. I have had my pair for about four years now and they continue to impress me. I have them running from a Behringer EP2500 amplifier in normal stereo mode, and have used these for indoor and outdoor events covering parties/discos/firework displays etc. The B1520PRO has decent drivers and a great sounding crossover. Power wise these appear to be conservatively rated. I can run them at full power for hours from the EP2500 with the clip lights occasionally flashing, so approx 500W rms to each of them, and honestly these drivers do not care. They are absolutely and completely miles away from their limits, with no sign of distortion. As a comparison these are a million miles away from the Behringer E1520 speakers. You cannot compare the two. Those will start to show signs of discomfort at this power levels after time. Likewise the magnets and drivers in the B1520PRO are significantly bigger heaver in construction. A couple of years ago I complimented my system with a pair of double 18inch subs and each one being driven by its own EP2500 in 4Ohm bridge mono. That gives me about 4K rms of bass to the 1K approx tops. This 5Kw system is pretty heavy and the tops keep up with the bass just fine outside but possibly a bit too much for some indoors. Again pick your stuff well know what it is your doing and you cannot go wrong with these Behringer cabs. Basically the B1520PRO tops with the EP2500 (now called EP4000 but inside totally same amp) are a perfect combination.
