A little disappointed in these. I am using them as an extension on a couple of outlets off my PS Audio P10. They just don't have the grab on the blade I was hoping for, not up to WW usual standards to me. Thinner blades just don't work with these..

Wirenuts? Blade wire connections to the outlets? No better than a cheap home depot power strip.
I just received this item. It is no better construction than a power strip from Home Depot. It looks like 16 ga wire and the wiring is connected from the input receptacle with WIRE NUTS? Really! The wire termination to the outlet plugs is made by sliding the wire between two "blades". Not screwed or soldered. It makes me question the quality of everything else Wireworld makes. I was a fan up until this.

The low ratings received for this item were true for the OG Matrix One version of this power strip but were easily cured by use of this 1 ft. extension cable ASIN B095R7TSK4. But these issues were fixed in the current version of the strip known as the Matrix Two strip. The quality of construction on the Matrix Two power strips I recently bought from audiolab is very high and all of the sockets have a very tight "blade grip". But most importantly, the Matrix Two strip does not muffle the sound from my audio components like many other power strips that I have used have done. It does not adulterate the sound at all. Why pay more for a power strip when the Matrix 2 is just as good as the best available?
